En esta aventura a las que nos invita Educalab e <a href="http://educalab.es/intef">INTEF</a> en su nuevo mooc <a href="http://mooc.educalab.es/courses/INTEF/INTEF169/2016_ED1/about">Gamification en el aula</a>, estaremos jugando un juego, ya se que muchos piensan que no hay que andar con juegos, que como va el mundo, no podemos estar perdiendo el tiempo jugando. Pero, resulta que esto de la <b><a href="https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ludificaci%C3%B3n">gamificación o ludificación</a></b>, como se dice en español, no es mas que un juego serio. Pio es una chica muy seria, y no juega juegos, solo vive en Second Life y no juega juegos.. Bueno, si juega juegos, le encanta el role play, (juego de rol ) y créanme es algo muy serio. </div>

Como actividad evaluativa se realizo un portafolio de trabajo con la finalidad de analizar el objetivo del curso y vincularlo con el alcance que se lleva hasta este momento con respecto a la busqueda de REAS y se presente a través de una evidencia digital en un portafolio de trabajo.<br />

Esta semana fue muy productiva e interesante. Luego de finalizada la semana 1 de esta aventura eduativa, se nos pide que realizemos un portafolio diagnostico como muestra de lo aprendido en este primer ciclo de actividades y discusiones. Desde esta perspectiva, se trata de presentar evidencia digital en forma de portafolio diagnóstico que requiere la revisión previa de materiales/actividades/contenidos para ubicar posibilidades acordes con nuesros intereses personales. <b>4. Publicar evidencia en red social. </b>Para esto se sugiere la creacion de un producto en forma documento Word, PowerPoint, Jpg, o del programa que prefiera.<br />

Luego, de decidir que tipo de portafolio se diseñaria, se aconseja revisar las propuestas de los compañeros de clase... al revisar los trabajos de los compañeros se pudo aclarar dudas de como se debia presentar el portafolio ya que las muestras presentadas sirvieron de modelos ilustrativos de eveidencias de objetivos alcanzados. Facilitando de esta manera el trabajo de realizar un primer portafolio.<br />

<b>5. Realizar presentación en el foro de la semana 1. </b><br />
<b>6. Realizar una presentación personal</b> donde nos cuentes tu formación previa, cuál es tu experiencia profesional, a qué te dedicas actualmente y cuál es tu conocimiento previo para este curso<br />
<b>7. Socializar el conocimiento.</b> Leer dos presentaciones de participantes del curso que no hayan sido aún retroalimentadas por tus compañeros (consulta el FORO del tema 1) y hacerles comentarios sobre su evidencia digital de portafolio diagnóstico. El mismo comienza con un video que busca que los educadores se plateen el aprender en un ambiente mas adecuado a los tiempos en que vivimos en la actualidad y que empienza a dibujar el futuro más próximo. El siguiente es un poco la transcripción del video. Me llamó mucho la atención y creo que hace las preguntas correctas.<br />
<br />
<b>Tres pasos para el aprendizaje del Siglo XXI.</b><br />
Los analfabetas del Siglo XXI no serán quienes no puedan leer ni escribir, sino los que no pueden aprender, desaprender y reaprender. Esta acotacion es una de mis favoritas es de <a href="http://www.linkedin.com/groups/analfabetos-siglo-XXI-no-ser%C3%A1n-4215306.S.175842977">Alvin Toffler</a>. Buscando la referencia en google para poder agregar a estas mis notas un enlace interesante, me encuentro con un foro donde ya varios educadores conviersan sobre lo que nos aporta Toffler. Un ejemplo de lo enriquecedor del uso de las alfabetizaciones y herramientas de estos tiempo. Mi camino en este curso que parece solitario, poco a poco se va llenando de un monton de gente y elementos que sirven para llegar a un mas lejos...<br />
<br />
El video tambien plantea la siguiente interrogante, ¿Qué habilidades se deben tener para ser letrados en el Siglo XXI? ¿Con quién estarán compitiendo, cooperando, colaborando nuestros estudiantes? La respuesta segun el video seria la competitividad, cooperación, y colaboración. Estoy muy de acuerdo pero le agregaria generosidad, <a href="http://dossier33.com/2013/07/juan-domingo-farnos-la-educacion-vive-un-momento-disruptivo/">conectividad</a>, pensamiento critico y <a href="http://juandomingofarnos.wordpress.com/2013/07/12/del-caos-sistemico-a-la-generacion-de-ideas-disruptivas/">disruptivo</a>, curiosidad, creatividad, innovacion, tenacidad, responsabilidad.<br />
<br />
Inmediatamente sigue con la pregunta... ¿Cómo ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a ser aprendices culturalmente letrados en el Siglo XXI? a lo que responde....Transformando el espacio de aprendizaje en un espacio creativo. El educador no debe enseñar a sus alumnos; debe intentar proveer las condiciones en las cuales ellos puedan aprender. Más allá de las fronteras físicas de un salón de clases. ¿Por qué pensar en un salón de clases como los de 1960? Cuando podemos crear espacios de aprendizajes que ayuden a preparar a los estudiantes para ser ciudadanos globales del Siglo XXI y aprendices para toda la vida.<br />
<br />
¿Cómo lograrlo?<br />
Transformar el espacio de aprendizaje en un espacio creativo al dejar que los estudiantes <b>aporten</b>.<br />
Transformar el espacio de aprendizaje en un espacio creativo al dejar que los estudiantes <b>construyan</b>; Transformar el espacio de aprendizaje en un espacio creativo al dejar que los estudiantes<b> creen</b>;<br />
Transformar el espacio de aprendizaje en un espacio creativo al dejar que los estudiantes <b>colaboren</b>.<br />
<br />
El espacio debe ser <b>cómodo y funcional.</b> El espacio debe ser <b>centrado en el alumno</b>. Enseñar a los alumnos habilidades de competitividad, cooperación y colaboración.<br />
<br />
Luego, explica la filosofia detras de las practicas que le dan basamento al curso que ofrece el Tecnologico de Monterrey.<br />

Fomentamos las habilidades de aprendizaje cooperativo y colaborativo, facilitando el <b>trabajo en equipos o grupos </b>porque el aprender es <b>social.</b> El peor enemigo del aprendizaje es el maestro que dicta. Presentar a los alumnos a sus semejantes globales y proveer la oportunidad para que colaboren con ellos. Si no aprendemos a colaborar y cooperar con los semejantes globales, ¿cómo será posible que compitamos con ellos en el mercado laboral global?</blockquote>

Concluyen en el video que ¡Las herramientas actuales nos ayudan a conectar aprendices y hacer que el aprendizaje sea colaborativo y poderoso!<br />
<br />
En el texto introductorio al curso, se define al <b>Movimiento Educativo Abierto</b> como un estimulante del desarrollo de actividades educativas de acceso abierto que favorece la realización de prácticas formativas, que van desde:<br />
1. Uso de REA (Recursos Educativos Abiertos) disponibles en Internet,<br />
2. Producción de materiales con licenciamiento abierto,<br />
3. Selección de REA a través de repositorios y conectores que actúan como infomediarios de los catálogos de REA,<br />
4. Diseminación de prácticas en entornos académicos, gubernamentales, institucionales, etc. y<br />
5. Movilización hacia las prácticas educativas.<br />
<br />
El proceso de movilización aborda el tema de transferencia y/o apropiación de conocimiento por medio de prácticas educativas abiertas, y éstas se pueden definir como actividades que apoyan el uso, reutilización y producción de los REA por medio de políticas institucionales, promoción de modelos pedagógicos innovadores y el empoderamiento de los alumnos como co-productores de sus aprendizajes a lo largo de la vida. Las prácticas educativas abiertas se dirigen a toda la comunidad de usuarios de REA: tomadores de decisión, gestores/administradores de organizaciones, profesionales de la educación y los estudiantes (OPAL, 2012; OportUnidad, 2012).<br />
<br />
Es así como a través de este curso buscamos que el participante se involucre en el Movimiento Educativo Abierto, adquiera el conocimiento y desarrolle las habilidades que le permitan integrar recursos educativos abiertos en los ambientes de educación a distancia.<br />
<br />
Bueno, luego de revisar los materiales y el contenido creo que va hacer de mucho provecho. A ver si se animan y nos acompañan es esa nueva aventura...<br />

There we discuss various themes related to the EFL profession. The moderators are: Juan Pino-Silva (Ph.D.), from Universidad Simón Bolívar (R)and Evelyn Izquierdo (M.A.in EFL) from Universidad Central de Venezuela. <span class="ygrp-grdescr">Their latest discussion is about the profile of the Good Collaborator in online communities. I must say that I haven't been a good collaborator lately, but on line discussion lists were the place where I first could read,and learn that there were others educators I could talk to or learn from to finally dare to share and even participate in projects. </span><br />

<span class="ygrp-grdescr">Well, reading the list I found the question Juan Pino asked: </span><br />
<blockquote><span class="ygrp-grdescr">During the early seventies and eighties research development on the "good language learner" was followed with interest by both researchers and classroom teachers. The expression "successful L1 and L2 learner" was everywhere in those days. Borrowing the word "success" from those days and that literature (or whatever you understand by success in the context this question is made), what attributes would you say should be part of a "Good collaborator/participant" in online groups such as Venelt? </span></blockquote><br />
<span class="ygrp-grdescr">He then asks participants in the list to comment if they deem necessary. Ouch! that hurt ... I felt so bad.. a good collaborator.. *shaked my head and felt guilty* but anyway I started reading what others said about it. The first one was from my dear friend Evelyn Izquierdo:</span><br />

<blockquote><span class="ygrp-grdescr">'good' collaborator in an online community might be that one who always contributes with interesting points to be discussed; someone who actively participates in the disussions and/or add new issues; someone who is always willing to share useful information and resources with his/her peers; someone who encourages others to participate or is a sample model to follow with his/her work.<br />
</span></blockquote><span class="ygrp-grdescr">I absolutely agree with Eve. *sighs*. Another response I related to was Juan's. He didn't answer what he thought but asked two participants their opinions: a colaborator and a lurker. (lurker is someone who reads and follow what's happening in a list but doesn't feel ready yet to participate fully... I am a lurker in this list now.. *smiles*). He came up with a list of 23 items:</span><br />
<br />
1. Motivation, <br />
2. Commitment to the group, <br />
3. Manager of a number of strategies to participate, <br />
4. Good reader and writer in both L1 and L2, <br />
5. Leadership, <br />
6. Desire to play the game and compete to be on top,<br />
7. Fully aware of what is to be gained as a result of collaborating, <br />
8. Use of online writing tools such as spell checkers, dictionaries (is there a better word for this?), Google, Wikipedia,etc. With the purpose of gaining confidence in one's writing, <br />
9. desire to get noticed, <br />
10. Show respect for and value all opinions, <br />
11. Display leadership ability, <br />
12. Mobilize and get others to mobilize, <br />
13. Self rate own and rate other collaborators' production, <br />
14. Separate daily, weekly hours to respond or jump in conversations,<br />
15. Do whatever you do online for an additional purpose such as doing own research, keep abreast of ELT issues, get ideas for the classroom,<br />
16. Know all or most of the tools of trade well, <br />
17. keep own yahoo group (or any other tool ) with students as participants, <br />
18. Ability to take the (virtual) floor, <br />
19. Accept that we're learners of both matter and English, <br />
20. Manage anxiety, stress, family problems to be a player, a winner if possible, <br />
21. Metacognition: awareness, <br />
22. Never say :I don't have an opinion, I don't like this topic, I'm not interested. <br />
23. Manage frustration levels ( take some time out but come back to the list)<br />

Carlos Mayora's contribution was also interesting he related the good on line collaborator with the idea of the English Teachers as professionals. He supported his position on the following quote: <br />

Also, he commented on Juan's list what overlaps and added two element missing in the quote: (a) mastering a technological component, and (b) "products" of such tasks need to be visible in the screens of other teachers.<br />

Now, after reading this great collaborations.. I realized how much I was missing. I think I fill the profile of the English teacher as a professional and most of the items Juan's mention. A little bit to excuse myself for being a lurker..is that ...writing this post and commenting about it.. as well as promoting the discussion list ..it's my own way to participate, collaborate and share... I believe in open spaces.. but lists are more intimate. Well, also this is the way I won't forget what I learned from the participants in the list. Thanks so much for contributing and sharing..here, there or wherever you share.<br />

Margarita Aste. Ella comienza su articulo así:<br /><br /><blockquote></blockquote>Entremos a una clase cualquiera, no importa la materia que se esté estudiando. ¿Qué es lo que veremos? Probablemente esté el profesor “dictando” clases (hablando solo) o realizando la única estructura empleada para lograr la participación de sus alumnos: Pregunta Para Toda La Clase- Respuesta Un Alumno.<br />Supongamos que el salón tiene 30 alumnos, si el profesor está dictando la clase, existe un 0% de participación de los alumnos. En el caso de estar en Pregunta-Respuesta, 1 de 30 o un 3.3% del salón están participando. ¿Y el restante 96.7%? ¡No debe sorprendernos que los profesores tengan problemas de disciplina! A todo nos gusta participar, es más aprendemos mucho mejor si estamos participando, hablando, preguntando y discutiendo. ¿Por qué entonces se quiere que los alumnos estén callados? (¿Alguna vez ha estado escuchando únicamente…cuánto tiempo puede estar así? ¡Aún a los adultos se nos complica esto!)<br /><br />Creo que lo que señala la Ing. es absolutamente cierto.<br /><br />Otra
